ENGR 487 Imaging Systems

Principles and uses of imaging technology with an emphasis on biomedical applications. Resolution and the point-spread function, 2D Fourier transforms and spatial-frequency concepts, tomography (CT), pulse-echo beamforming (ultrasound, radar), MRI, and basic image processing. Offered as needed.
