ENGR 486 Tissue Engineering

Study of tissue functionality and biomaterial design including the basic concepts underlying physiological responses to wounds and foreign materials. Topics include biomaterial scaffolds, relevant cell types, soluble regulators or their genes, and mechanical loading and culture conditions. Offered odd years. (Course fees apply.)
