Foreign Language (BA Degrees)

All BA students are required to demonstrate elementary-level proficiency in a language other than English. This requirement can be fulfilled either by taking a 12-credit elementary language sequence, completing a minimum of 9 hours of language instruction in the context of an immersive cultural experience (generally through Adventist Colleges Abroad), or earning a score of 61 or above on a CLEP exam in a language other than English:

Note that this requirement does not fulfill the Engaging Society requirement for BA students since GS courses are not allowed to count toward multiple categories.
