The study of motivation as a multifaceted psychological construct that encompasses underlying processes that initiate, direct, and maintain human behavior. Introduces the history, theories, and principles of human motivation and emotions. Examines motivation from a variety of perspectives including physiological, psychological, and social perspectives.
