EDUC 211 Introduction to and Foundations of Education

An introduction to education including social and historical foundations, models, theories, philosophy, special education, and legal and ethical issues that form the basis for education in a culturally and academically diverse society. University students will be required to complete a criminal background check by the Washington State Patrol and fingerprinting by the FBI. Field experience required.
