RELB 408 The Bible and the Human Condition

Focused attention on select theological themes that touch on different aspects of the human condition. Considers the development of these themes through the Old and New Testaments in the context of Christian reflection and witness. The selection of topics varies with any given course offering and might include some of the following: the meaning of life, birth, body, death, grief, sin, work, language, tragedy, hope, beauty, wealth, land and poverty, wisdom, love, evil, anger, violence, anxiety, technology, society and history.
