NRSG 204P Pathophysiology/Pharmacology I

Uses a concept-based/body systems approach to build on previous human anatomy and physiology courses to compare normal and abnormal physiology of select pathophysiological conditions. Risk factors, pathogenesis, and clinical manifestations are introduced for each selected pathophysiological condition. Pharmacological concepts will be integrated into pathophysiology through exploration of major drug classifications, prototype drugs, mechanisms of action, indications, side effects, and nursing implications.
