FINA 441 Financial Markets and Institutions

Study of the U.S. Federal Reserve system, interest rates, and the money, bond, mortgage, stock, and derivative markets.  An introduction to U.S. financial institutions, including commercial banks, thrifts, credit unions, finance companies, investment banks, mutual funds, insurance companies, and pension funds. Credit cannot be earned for both FINA 440 and ECON 441/FINA 441.
