General Studies College Writing Courses (ENGL)
ENGL 121 and ENGL 122 are prerequisites to all upper-division courses. Credit will not be allowed for more than one of the following: ENGL 223 and HONR 243. (HONR classes are open to students who have been accepted into the Honors General Studies Program.) Students must pass a departmental placement test, or pass ENGL 111 with a grade of C- or higher, before enrolling in the college writing sequence.
The following courses do not apply toward an English major or minor.
