The Registrar is responsible to the Vice President for Academic Administration.
Administering the Records Office
Managing all student academic records
Maintaining campus policy relating to the privacy of student academic records (see Faculty Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)), and, in consultation with the Vice President for Academic Administration, revising policies in accordance with state and federal law
Serving on the University Senate, Graduate Council, Financial Aid and Scholarship, and Curriculum committees
The Associate Registrar is responsible to the Registrar.
The Associate Registrar assists the Registrar by overseeing transfer, graduate, and international degree programs and serves as liaison with the Portland campus and the following committees: Academic Standards, Graduate Council, Admissions, and Financial Aid and Scholarship.
The Assistant Registrar is responsible to the Registrar.
The Assistant Registrar assists the Registrar in advising students and maintains and manages student records.

Registration, adds, drops, and withdrawals
Grade reporting
Preparation and distribution of student academic records
Preparation of academic records information management system (RIM)
Storage and security for academic records
Compiles and distributes enrollment statistics to the administration
Produces and distributes class and grade rosters to the faculty
Receives, processes, and reports grades for student academic records
Processes tuition and fee charges for student accounts
Administers ongoing development of a computerized records management system
Handles appeals related to tuition and fee charges on student accounts
Processes academic data for determining probation and honor students
Advises the Vice President for Academic Administration on all matters relating to the Records Office
Supervises the Associate Registrar
Evaluates transfer transcripts
Carries out degree audits for graduate students and approves all graduate programs
Serves as international and veteran students' adviser

Interprets and clarifies academic policies and procedures for

Determines class standing
Issues and mails diplomas
Checks transcripts and records information on the appropriate record
Provides answers and makes decisions regarding academic situations
Figures grade-point averages as needed
Supplies and records information on academic progress on student financial aid forms
