MATH 181 Calculus I

Designed for students majoring in mathematics, engineering, or the physical sciences, or for those seeking a rigorous introduction to the Calculus. Topics include limits, continuity, derivatives, and applications. Includes formal definitions of the limit and derivative, as well as proofs of standard theorems. Meets the general studies requirement for the baccalaureate degree. Credit will not be allowed for both MATH 181 and MATH 131
