CORR 285 Introduction to Criminal Justice

Study of the philosophy and history of law enforcement; includes an overview of crime and police problems, agencies involved in administration of criminal justice, processes of justice from detection of crime to parole of offenders, evaluation of modern police services, and a survey of professional career opportunities and qualifications required.
