COMM 520 Editing and Post Production

Study of techniques used for video editing and post production involving hands-on instruction in editing, compositing, and post production techniques using non-linear editing equipment and creative software. Includes a discussion of narrative structure as it relates to the editing process. A two-week residency includes face-to-face instruction, hands-on experience editing projects, and the use of various post-production techniques for the purpose of improving, enhancing and finalizing video productions. An online post-session includes editing, analysis, and critique of projects. (Course fees apply.)
