MATH 117 Accelerated Precalculus

Designed for students preparing to take Calculus I who have had some previous experience with Precalculus but are in need of further review. Covers topics from college algebra and trigonometry including polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions and their graphs; trigonometric identities; and complex numbers. Designed to meet the general studies requirement for the baccalaureate degree, but does not apply towards a major or minor in mathematics. Credit will not be allowed for both MATH 117 and MATH 121 or MATH 122.
