PHYS 201 Conceptual Physics

Investigation, explanation, and understanding of the natural world using the ideas and concepts of physics. Topics include mechanics, properties of matter, heat, sound, electricity and magnetism, light, atomic and nuclear physics, relativity, and astrophysics. Does not apply towards a major or minor. Corequisites: PHYS 204, 205. Credit will not be allowed for both PHYS 151, 152 and PHYS 201, 202.
