HONR - Honors
HONR 131, HONR 132, HONR 133 and HONR 141, HONR 142, HONR 243 are prerequisite to all upper-division honors courses.
The Honors Program requires the completion of HONR 141, HONR 142, and HONR 243. ENGL 121, ENGL 122, ENGL 223, ENGL 323, AP credit, IB credit, or CLEP credit may not be substituted. Students transferring into the Honors Program from other institutions will be asked to provide a portfolio of writing assignments and may be asked to fulfill an Honors Directed Writing requirement in preparation for Honors Research Writing.
