FILM 319 The American West in Document and Film

Study of selected films and documents with emphasis on Western American settlements, technologies, and ecologies. The course focuses on the West as an international symbol of freedom, oppression, hope, and exploitation. Prerequisites: general studies literature, ENGL 234, or FILM 215. Offered odd years only.
